About Menagerie
Menagerie is a free online Simulation game that runs right in your browser. There is nothing to download and no account to create: press Play and you are in. It works on desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile.
Sculpt a world and watch animals evolve to cross it. Nobody designs them: eighty are thrown together at random — a back, some legs, a rhythm — and whichever get furthest have the children. The population breeds as separate species, one per body plan, so a two-limbed hopper and an eight-limbed crawler can develop side by side instead of the first winner swallowing the run. Every world sets a distance to beat: raise hills, dig flooded trenches, pull down a roof they must crawl under, or ice the floor, and each one breeds a different animal. Keep the ones you like on the shelf and release them somewhere they were never bred for.
