About Moodswing

Moodswing is a free online Puzzle game that runs right in your browser. There is nothing to download and no account to create: press Play and you are in. It works on desktop, laptop, tablet and mobile.

A match-3 where the pieces are moods: joy, love, blue, cross, giddy and wow, each with its own colour, shape and face. Swipe two neighbours to line up three. Four in a line make a striped mood that clears its row or column, an L or a T makes one that bursts, and five make a mood ring that takes every piece of one mood; swap two of them together for something bigger. Some faces sit glum under rainclouds, and lifting the clouds is the goal on many levels. Your score is the sun, which climbs out of the hills behind the board past three stars and wakes up as it goes, and every move you save is paid out at the end. Sixty measured levels, sound made in the browser, and a level left half-played waits where you left it.

How to play Moodswing

1. Swap two neighboring moods to line up three or more of the same kind.
2. Matched pieces clear, new ones fall in, and chains score extra.
3. Match four in a line for a striped mood that clears its whole row or column; an L or T shape makes one that bursts.
4. Match five to make a mood ring that removes every piece of one mood. Complete each level's goal within the moves allowed.

Controls

• Swipe or drag a piece onto its neighbor to swap them
• Esc: pause

Tips and strategy

• Work from the bottom of the board: falling pieces create free cascades.
• Combine two special pieces by swapping them together for a much bigger effect.
• Read the level goal first and spend moves on it, not just on points.
